Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at mbshospicecareinc@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Hospice care is a type of palliative care that is specifically designed for individuals who have a life expectancy of six months or less. Palliative care is a more general term that refers to any type of care that is focused on relieving pain and improving quality of life for individuals with serious illness.

Hospice care can be provided in the patient's home, as well as in a hospice facility, hospital or long-term care facility. The location of care will depend on the patient's needs and preferences.

Hospice care provides a range of services, including pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, medication management, medical equipment and supplies, and bereavement support for the patient and their family.
